3D Printed Ceramics
In the field of industrial design, I had the opportunity to create a meticulously crafted coffee ensemble, featuring ceramic V60 filters, espresso cups, a larger coffee mug, and a pitcher. This collection embodies our studio's creative journey from inception to execution. Presenting this project, in which I played a hands-on role throughout every stage, from conceptualization and design to prototyping and final production, serves as a demonstration of my dedication and proficiency in the field of industrial design.
Utilizing 3D printing technology, I embarked on a research endeavor to bridge the gap between ceramics and modern printing techniques. This meticulous process involved prototyping the designs, creating plaster molds, and ultimately producing the ceramic pieces. I undertook this project under the umbrella of Neme Design Studio, a collaborative venture I co-founded, equipped with 3D printer and prototyping facilities, including a plaster mold workshop and ceramic kiln.
This coffee set not only represents the fusion of art and technology but also serves as a symbol of my dedication to crafting functional yet aesthetically pleasing objects that enrich daily life. From concept to completion, this endeavor embodies the holistic design experience that drives me forward in my creative journey.
Furthermore, we obtained design registrations for all the objects within this project, in a process that I conducted in collaboration with my partner which demonstrates the uniqueness and exclusivity of our creations.
